Green Leaf Alternative Solutions is a solar EPC based at 58 Kyalami Boulevard, Kyalami Park, Midrand, 1684. It designs, installs and maintains rooftop and ground-mount solar, battery storage (BESS), solar carports and solar VSDs for warehouses, factories, office parks, retail centres and farms anywhere in South Africa. Green Leaf does systems from 5kW residential to 10MW industrial through its different divisions.
Completed work includes an industrial park microgrid near Lanseria (2.5MW solar PV and 3MWh BESS, built in stages 2024–2025), shopping centres in Lenasia (935 kWp, 2025) and Westonaria (728 kWp with 110 kWh battery storage, 2023–2025), and a commercial site in Roodekop, Germiston (440 kWp, 2023).
Green Leaf handles design, SSEG and NERSA registration, installation, monitoring and thermal drone inspections. Designs are signed off by ECSA-registered electrical engineers through its engineering partner, KKA Consulting Electrical Engineers. It is a PV GreenCard Certified Installation Company (INST-9619573), a certification issued by SAPVIA, and an ECB Listed Contractor (29820).

Warehouses and distribution centres usually have large, unshaded roofs and most of their electricity use during the working day. That makes them a good fit for rooftop solar: the panels produce power while lighting, cold rooms, conveyors and offices are running.
Before we design a warehouse system, we check the roof structure and sheeting, review your electricity bills and load profile, and confirm the grid connection. We handle SSEG registration with the municipality or Eskom, and we can add battery storage for backup or peak shaving where the site needs it. Businesses can buy the system outright, or use a PPA or lease, available directly or through a finance partner.

After commissioning we provide operations and maintenance, and we can monitor performance. Thermal drone inspections find faults such as hotspots that are not visible in ordinary light. Yes, if it’s connected to the grid. Systems up to 100 kW register with Eskom or the municipality, and systems over 100 kW register with NERSA (Eskom, 30 Sep 2026). City Power requires approval before installation. Green Leaf handles SSEG and NERSA registration. See SSEG applications.
Yes. PPA and lease options for businesses are available directly or through a finance partner, and they reduce the upfront capital the business needs. Under a PPA the provider funds the system rather than the business. Whether any other fees apply depends on the specific agreement.
